Bible Festival 2008 Cancelled
It is with deep regret that the Council of FIEC wishes to announce its decision not to proceed with the Cheltenham Bible Festival in 2008.
As preparations for the event have gathered pace, it has become increasingly apparent that to continue could put an unacceptable strain on the resources of the Fellowship and that it would be irresponsible to continue.
The Council wishes to thank the management team as well as the many contributors, exhibitors and volunteers for all they have given to the event. We wholeheartedly endorse the vision behind the Festival and are deeply grateful to God for the blessings he showered upon the event in 2007. More than 2,500 enjoyed an unforgettable experience this summer and it remains our fervent prayer that a similar event will be able to run in future on a sustainable basis.
